St. Nicholas Day

On the night of December 5, St. Nicholas leaves small gifts in shoes or under pillows, a tradition kept across Ukraine, Central Europe and the Netherlands. St. Nicholas gifts for kids cover classic shoe fillers, toys by age and a few bigger surprises.

Adults get St. Nicholas gifts too, usually small and personal: see St. Nicholas gifts for adults. The rest of the season continues in Christmas and New Year.
